The Armentrout boys have tag teamed a few gobblers at the beginning of the season and then Kevin caught and released a big catfish on the Potomac! Way to go Armentrouts!   Braden caught this big bass at our event on Friday! Look for more pics to come. Parents send me the pics to [email protected]  Outdoor Club Leader, Mr. Woods, fishes with his son at our event. Steve Purks, our waterfowl guide and KG native, and Julie Abel, Rappahannock Spurs President and sponsor of KGOC, doubled up on two gobblers making for an awesome day turkey hunting!  One of your outdoor club leaders managed to get his turkey for Easter supper. I hope you guys are all enjoying Easter break and getting out to get a turkey or go fishing! Monty Clift, our guest speaker for our turkey call event, helped Austin get a NICE gobbler. At 22 yards Austin turned the lights out!  As a warm up to a deer hunt, Austin Gray checked the zero on a .22 rifle and then headed to the woods to try to get some running squirrels. He picked this one off for supper!  |
